Paul, I tend to agree with the little voice in your ear. Integration works, but doesn't a company lose its "cool factor" if it has to push people online? Facebook has already become mainstream, but it is our responsibility as marketers to not let consumers know that...yet anyways. The fact that people were going to the company sites online anyways is proof that all consumers need is the fodder...they'll create their experiences themselves.

Paul, you planning a Super Bowl strategy article this year? Was reading somewhere that Pedigree that Pedigree has a social media widget and advertisers in general are paying attention to social media this year.
